Got my Remington Rand 1911 from CMP. Barrel that came with it had excessive loose breach and head space. The loose breach caused some peening around the rear edges of the slide lugs and side area around near the breech face.

After cleaning those areas up, the Fusion barrel only needed very minor fitting. Had to dress the high spots around the stamped lettering. Locks up great with .043" engagement and zero loose breach. Used a #3 Wilson Combat link and everything functions properly.

Maybe some day they'll do the barrel without the stamped lettering so it would look more like a HS making it more cosmetically correct. Good product.
